At Oakbrook, we value the time we get to spend with your children. It is our passion to instill Biblical principles into them with age-appropriate lessons and activities. Upstreet is our normal class time which occurs simultaneously with our weekend adult service times. KidStuf is a special 45-minute program in which kids attend with their parents after the normal weekend service. Read on for more information on both ministries.

Upstreet is an environment for nursery through 6th grade children to come and learn about God through worship, creative teaching, and building quality friendships with other kids and small group leaders.

There are three components to each weekend. First, there is a WELCOMING TIME where children are greeted by their coaches, small group leaders, and room volunteers. Second, there is a LARGE GROUP TIME where the kids participate in a meaningful time of worship and hear a Bible story. Then they participate in a SMALL GROUP TIME where the kids experience discussion, activities, and prayer.

It is our goal that all Preschoolers learn these three values:

God Made Me

God Loves Me

Jesus Wants to be my Friend Forever

Three Basic Truths we teach in K-6th Grade:

I need to make the WISE choice.

I can TRUST God no matter what.

I should TREAT others that way I want to be treated.

KidStuf is a highly creative 45 minute program where kids and parents come together to have fun, worship, and learn Biblical virtues. Then throughout the week, parents and kids have an opportunity to talk about how they can live out what they learned.

"KidStuf: Where kids bring their parents to church!"

KidStuf runs in the Warehouse and follows the school year schedule (off in the summertime.) KidStuf happens at 11:15am after the weekend service.
