A PLACE TO BELONG One of our core beliefs at Oakbrook is that lifechange happens best in the context of small groups. Think about it. Do people grow spiritually more in an hour on Sunday mornings, or in mentoring relationships with other believers? While we all love the Biblical teaching that is presented to us from the platform by our teaching team, we also realize that people need more than that to become fully devoted to Jesus Christ. That's where Small Groups comes in. A Small Group is nothing more than a handful of believers meeting together 2-3 times per month with the goals of: • meeting other Oakbrook attenders and developing friendships with them • creating a safe environment where you can share your experiences and learn from others' experiences • learn more about spiritual topics, the Bible, and prayer • offering support and care for each other through life's ups and downs HOW DO I GET IN A SMALL GROUP?
