Our Divorce Recovery group exists to help those who have experienced marital separation or divorce resolve their current struggles and identify next steps in their spiritual and emotional growth by providing Biblical insight and relational support.
Our local workshop is based on materials created by the national DivorceCare organization. It is a 13-week program that combines a teaching time followed by support group discussion time. A typical evening starts with a video featuring top experts on topics relating to divorce and separation. Following the video, we break into support groups where you will have the opportunity to share your experiences and receive encouragement from others. Our group at Oakbrook is led by people who understand first hand what you are experiencing.
DivorceCare Forms A registration form for DivorceCare or DivorceCare for Kids can be downloaded here or picked up in the Welcome Center at the church. Please follow the instructions on this form to complete the registration process. Advance registration is required for DivorceCare for Kids by contacting Jim at 765.864.0620 at least one day ahead of each weekly session.
