We believe that people matter to God, therefore, people matter to us. At Oakbrook, we value people by valuing relationships and we do this in groups. Groups at Oakbrook are the key places where people, no matter where they are at on their spiritual journey, take steps to grow in their understanding and relationship with Jesus Christ.
A small group at Oakbrook is nothing more than a handful of individuals meeting together a few times per month for the purpose of:
- taking steps in your journey to live like Jesus through studying the Scriptures, discussion and prayer.
- developing friendships and offering support and care for each other through life's ups and downs.
- joining others to live like Jesus and to share Him with others through compassion and service.
Village Communities are a collection of groups that meet together at the church, then break up into their smaller groups.
