Monday Morning Recap, June 6
Hey everybody! I walked away from church yesterday with a deep sense of joy and satisfaction inside of me. What an amazing experience!
I have been in ministry for awhile now and I'm still amazed at how God draws people to himself. The stories from those who got baptized yesterday reminded me that God is always at work! A grandmother faithfully prays for years that her grandson (a self-proclaiming atheist) will someday find Christ...and he does! A daughters father passes away and while she is going through his belongings she finds a book called "The Purpose Driven Life" begins reading it and discovers Christ! Amazing stories...only God! So thankful we as a church get to witnesses these amazing stories of God doing what only he can do!
As I said yesterday I'm really excited about the Open Skies series. Imagine if you became a person who doesn't just talk about prayer or thinks prayer is important-imagine if you actually prayed. Start praying today all throughout your day!
Pray Continually (I Thessalonians 5: 16-18)
Pray Completely (Philippians 4:6-7)
Pray Honestly (Matthew 6:5; 7-8)
Pray Quietly (Psalm 46:10)
All throughout your days this week simply talk to God. He can't wait to hear from you!
