Happy New Year & happy snowy morning everyone!
First of all, how about all those incredible volunteers and staff that pulled off three amazing Christmas services? (insert uproarious clapping and appreciation here)
I'm always so impressed with our church's dedication and work ethic at the busiest time of year. And everyone does so with such humility and desire to see Christ lifted up! Awe inspiring. Thank you volunteers and staff!
What's not to love about Andy Stanley's teaching? But never fear, Mark will be back to teach this Sunday for week 2. We'll tackle friendships, finances, marriage and more in this series.
What's a guardrail?
A system to keep us from straying into dangerous areas. A standard of behavior that becomes a matter of conscience. When you violate it, you feel guilty.
Guardrails are all through the Bible. God, the Father, sets up protective barriers-standards to keep His children from harm.
"It's not that we plan to fail; it's that we don't plan not to fail." (A guardrail is planning not to fail.)
