Monday Morning Recap, January 16
Hey everybody. Hope your week is off to a great start.

Flee, Baby, Flee! The talk was about establishing sexual guardrails in your life and centered around the truth found in I Corinthians 6:18-19.
Married Guardrails:
Don't travel alone with members of the opposite sex.
Don't eat alone with members of the opposite sex.
Don't hire cute members of the opposite sex because you want to help them.
Don't confide in or counsel members of the opposite sex.
When you feel your heart or desires drifting toward a specific someone tell someone.
Single Guardrails:
Gouge your eyes with a spoon (just kidding).
Apply married guardrails with married people (see above).
No sleepovers.
Take a relationship break.

I was very dissappointed in the sermon Sunday. I personally feel that the talk was an inappropriate talk for the congression with smaller children. In fact I left early because of the talk (sexuality). In addition, I noticed 6 other leave before I did. If this the kind of talks that Oakbrook is going to start having, then you probably won’t be seeing me much at the services. SORRY!

I wasn’t at the service on Sunday, however I did hear that the message was very powerful. I think that those who needed to hear that message were there. I know that I wish my wife would have heard this series about 2 years ago before she crashed right through her guardrail dealing with infidelity. Those of you who complain about a topic need to realize that there are others in the congregation who NEED to hear the messages that are provided.
