Monday Morning Recap, 8.29
What a crazy Sunday! Never in 25 years have we had the power go out on a Sunday morning. But we called an audible and made the service happen regardless. Big thanks to all the people who quickly helped set up the warehouse. I loved hearing everyones voice as we sang about our great God! Big thanks to those who couldn't find a seat and stood the entire time! And for those of you wondering if we could get done 15 minutes earlier each week-not a chance!
Here are the 3 things we need to keep praying about this ministry season:
1. Pray that God will Draw People to Himself
"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up the last day."
John 6:44
2. Pray that People will have a Hunger/Desire for C2
6 I planted the seed, Apollos watered the plants, but God made you grow. 7 It's not the one who plants or the one who waters who is at the center of this process but God, who makes things grow."
1 Corinthians 3:6-7
3. Pray that More People will Join the Movement!
35 Then Jesus made a circuit of all the towns and villages. He taught in their meeting places, reported kingdom news, and healed their diseased bodies, healed their bruised and hurt lives. 36 When he looked out over the crowds, his heart broke. So confused and aimless they were, like sheep with no shepherd. 37 "What a huge harvest!" he said to his disciples. "How few workers! 38 "On your knees and pray for harvest hands!"
