What a great morning at Oakbrook!
So proud of everyone who was baptized yesterday!!!
As a church lets commit to praying for these great people as they continue their journey of learning to live like Jesus.
Way to go-all the influencers who God used to help these people find Christ! There is nothing more meaning in life than helping find Christ!
How cool would it be to have influence in someones life in the same way??
One of the things I love most about Oakbrook is the intentional effort we place on influencing the next generation. I believe this effort puts a huge smile on God's face.
We are so fortunate to have such an awesome team of people leading our Next Gen. ministries!
Big, big thanks to all the volunteers who influence our kids each week. You guys are my Heroes!!
Who are you influencing? Maybe God wants to use you, your gifts and talents to influence some kids...pray about it. I dare you.

I'm writing this blog from a hotel room in Columbus, OH (enemy territory for MIchigan fans 
I'm helping Carmen and Brad move into an apartment. Brad has one more year at Ohio State. Hopefully, I will not lose my religion today with all these Buckeyes!

we had an AMAZING turnout for OSM sunday night. Best in about the last 4 years. Even better is that we have almost a dozen NEW VOLUNTEERS in the world of Student Ministry. We are SOOO EXCITED about this year and what God is going to do!
