Some thoughts from another amazing day at Oakbrook...
Way to go everyone who turned your clocks forward and made it yesterday! DST has been going on for a few years in Indiana but I got to admit it takes a few days to make the adjustment.

Loved the prelude! I have been a Journey fan for a long time. Macey Rice and the band killed it!! Hope you heard the message of the song...Don't Stop Believing!
I heard Kidstuf was fantastic yesterday. I didn't know Monty Sanders could act?? Is there anything he can't do? If you have never experienced Kidstuf you should-it is such a great environment! Pray for the Kidstuf team as they take it to Western Schools this week!
Today starts the 28 Day Challenge I laid down yesterday. Read your Bible for 28 days straight and you will establish a new habit of reading Gods word each day. I'm praying hundreds of you will take the challenge. It will only take 5-15 minutes a day and yet it will transform your life! You can do it.
Good Friday and Easter services are just around the corner! Please join me in praying that God will use these service to draw more and more people to Himself. It will be a full weekend of worship. Good Friday 7pm. Easter 9 and 11PM.
Don't forget Classes this Wednesday. If you are a fan of Francis Chan the Leadership class is watching a video of Francis. It is not to late to join any of the Classes.
For those of you who brought a tithe yesterday...way to go! Now keep it up. You are blessed to be a blessing.

Let me tell you sometime how God has used James for ‘reproof’ and ‘instruction’ in my life.
I shared with my small group that I wanted to crave God’s word and I don’t. I CRAVE the morning newspaper, Imagine that! So I began and dug into Isaiah as we were listening to The Messiah at home. HM First 15 chapters are all about God’s judgement on Israel—does not feed me right now. So I moved into Psalms and, surprisingly, that wasnt’ doing it either. SO, and thanks, you reminded us to start in John. I’m there.

I have loved this whole series and have really appreciated the discussion notes to use with my small group. It is great to extend our discussion past Sunday morning. I am excited to ‘once again’ become recommitted (for probably the hundredth time) to reading every day. Thanks for the push.
