I just have to say that yesterday was one of my favorite sunday morning experiences in a long time.  (not counting Christmas or Easter... of course)  

I mean, how could you not love time spent in worship, the Oakbrook Quiz Show with Morgan Young, and my son Nicholas telling us the story of Jonah through the eyes of a 3 year old?  It still amazes me that I get to do this every week.  

I was so proud of our OSM students & leaders this past weekend who went on our trip to Chicago.  They impacted a lot of people and I know that what they did will continue to impact many more that they will never even meet.  WAY TO GO!

I love whenever we talk about compassion (showing God's love to people).  I feel like the church is at its best when we are showing compassion to the world.  Let's learn a lesson from Jonah and let compassion flow out of our hearts instead of waiting for it to be pried out of us.  I hope that we take the challenge I set before us this week.  fill those bags for the food drive and bring them back in two weeks, and do something out of love and kindness for your neighbors this week.  Let's be more like Jesus than ever in the next 7 days!
