Some of my thoughts from yesterday... Thanks to all who came yesterday in spite of the nice weather! A Pastor I follow on twitter told his congregation if they didn't come to church Sunday God was going to send the 6 more months of winter!!

My thoughts from another great day at Oakbrook... Another great job by our music team during The Prelude! This "You Pick The Prelude" run has been a lot of fun. How did they get Sean Verlee's voice to sync with Bono's...very cool.
My thoughts from yesterday… I certainly hope you were able to arrive early enough yesterday to hear the two prelude songs. Aubri and Macey were amazing as well as the entire band. I don’t know what I enjoyed more…The songs or the fun I could see our band having as they played those songs from the past. God has certainly blessed us with great musical talent.
Some thoughts from yesterday... Still surprised this morning by the Colts loss. I really expected them to win. Watched a lot of interviews after the game and was impressed with the classy way the Colts handled the loss. Time to get excited for the draft!

How cool was it to see all the kids and leaders in UpStreet walking around in their PJ’s yesterday? Yesterday was UpStreet’s annual Pajama Party…lots of fun! I wonder what first-time visitors thought seeing kids walking around in PJ’s 
Our church participated in the Advent Conspiracy (watch this video if you have never seen it!) this year. We collected a year end offering to support global & local compassion efforts and encouraged our small groups to also come up with creative ways to serve others during the Christmas season. I am always so proud of our church in times like this.
How fun was it to see the Colts roll over the Jets in the second half and win by 13-scoring 24 unanswered points?! Last week we kept the Ravens to 3 and yesterday we win by 13. Bring on the Saints! It was great to have my friend, Sean Verlee, leading us in worship yesterday...
